Starting Monday, May 3rd and continuing until July 30th, public hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The abbreviated hours will allow staff time prior and after hours to to process necessary paperwork created by high volume of phone calls and walk-ins generated by the mailing of notices.

2021 Low Income Housing Development Capitalization Rate:

8.5% to 9.5%

* Pursuant to Texas Property Tax Code, Sec. 11.1825(r), the Milam Appraisal District gives public notice of the the capitalization rate to be used to value properties receiving exemptions under this section for tax year 2021.
