The Milam Appraisal District will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 21st.
The Milam Appraisal District's Appraisers will be in the field performing property inspections required by law. Appraisers will always be in vehicles that are clearly marked, have business cards and state issued TDLR license that can be shown upon request. The Appraisers will never request that you allow them access inside any building. If you have have any questions or concerns please contact our office. Local law enforcement is also aware of the specific appraisers in an area and the vehicles they drive.
The reappraisal plan is intended to provide all interested parties a clear and concise view of the District’s responsibilities and the activities planned for the appraisal year. The mission of the District is to discover, list and appraise property accurately, ethically and impartially in order to estimate the market value of all property within the boundaries of the county for ad valorem tax purposes.
The following is the District’s current reappraisal plan plus one year prior. Anything older may be requested by submitting a Public Information Request.
